Edinburgh Training Session

On Sunday 18th October 2026, members of Highland Armoured Combat were pleased to attend a training session in Barton Bunker, Edinburgh, organised by Edinburgh Armoured Combat. This was the first away trip for the club, and those who were able to make the journey had a great day trying out 1 on 1 duelling using softkit equipment, picking up tips from more experienced members of the Edinburgh club.

After the 1 on 1 fighting, there was a brief fun sesssion of group combat in a “capture the flag” game with participants being sent back to their starting line whenever hit 3 times on the head by an opponents weapon, before the suitably exhausted group was given a tour of the former nuclear bunker.

HAC would like to thank Edinburgh Armoured Combat for this opportunity to train with them and look forward to more training and competition in the future.

Club AGM

On 31st August 2026, the Club held its first AGM, to formally adopt its new constitution and elect the executive committee. Dom Spens was unanimously elected as Chairperson.

It was agreed for the foreseeable future training classes will continue on Mondays in Lybster, but the club will look into running classes on another day of the week elsewhere in the county.

However it was also agreed that the first priority was to obtain some necessary basic equipment to safely extend the types of training done in class, and to pursue funding to purchase these. Two grant applications have already been made, and the committee will investigate what other donations or sponsorship might be possible.
